Spinal Tap: Unwigged & Unplugged

Seems that Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer and Michael McKean are doing a series of acoustic shows as themselves. They'll feature songs from Spinal Tap and A Mighty Wind. I would sell my left arm for a chance to see one of these shows. Click on the title up there for the link to their tour website. In the meantime, let's all settle down and enjoy some really good music, shall we?

This could be one of those moments, like when Pink Floyd Reunites and tours again...

On a related note: have you heard Harry Shearer's "Le Show?". He does a radio show (or podcast). They run it localy on KCPW (88.3)on Monday nights. I caught it by accident (it comes on after Marketplace... I'm such a grown-up)

Anyway - if you havent heard it, don't. It's a train wreck. Im pretty sure he sits down with a BIG bottle of something and a news paper and starts reading thru random current events. There are some sketches and songs thrown in (I imagine they do this while he is passed out on the floor) and they are usually very strange.

Still being a train wreck, it's hard to look away....

And if you have heard it and you like it, this may be awkward...
